So my initial assumption may be correct? Not only does Jayden have a loser for a father but the mother is also effed up? To the point that she can't even take care of her own 2 kids unsupervised? If that is the case then I think I have all the answers I need about the mother. I guess she won't be winning the Mother Of The Year Award any time soon. These poor kids. And the older child has a biological father who wasn't even in the picture? Boy, this mother sure knows how to pick some great men to father her children. It sure would be nice if she'd stop having kids being that she's not doing a very good job raising the ones she has already.

Sounds like yet another chick who never should have had kids. I hope her tubes are now tied! Something tells me she had some involvement in this incident but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

There is a front page article in a local newspaper in SMC with info about the babies' injuries and findings by the doctor's at Childrens Hospital where the baby was flown. The baby remains hopitalized. My heart aches for the life ahead for this dear little boy.

I am no detective, but I just think there is a whole lot more to be said to this story. I would have been gone myself. If he was abusing me or threatening me not to leave, I would have left with the threats in my mind and I guess the abuse on my body. I would not have stayed in that home. But unfortunately now Autumn is in the "Woodfords" care. I know that the "SBS" has been said to make the baby stop crying, but what about the fractured bones? What about that? I guess that doesnt make a baby scream either?....... Silence is the not a luxury. Baby Jayden has faught for his life longer than he lived it! Thats a CRYING shame.
You may have already read today's paper, but the article states (about the fractures):

"In addition to the baby’s head injuries, court papers state, medical staff found fractures which ‘‘would have occurred with a forceful pull and twist of the arms.” "

Here's the link: Father jailed here on abuse charge

It is SO sad to think that someone could do this to a poor defenseless infant.

When my daughter was very young, I had a stuck sliding glass door, and I had her in my arms as I struggled to push it shut. I shoved with all of my might, the door finally sprung fee and slammed shut, and to my horror, after it closed, I saw her little foot in the door. She must have kicked her foot out right as I was closing the door. She was the same age as this baby. I was practically hysterical and rushed my baby to the hospital, called my hubby at work and had him meet me there. The docs took x-rays, and she was totally fine. I couldn't believe it, and said so. I just couldn't believe I hadn't pulverized her foot. The docs then told me that a baby's bones are like green sticks - they are so pliable that it is very difficult to break them. That is when I realized that when you hear of an infant with broken bones, you KNOW someone did something incredibly forceful to them.

My prayers are with sweet little baby Jayden.
