Another Sad Eviction Story.

Japanese homeless woman evicted from closet

TOKYO, Japan (AP) -- A homeless woman who sneaked into a man's house and lived undetected in his closet for a year was arrested in Japan after he became suspicious when food mysteriously began disappearing.

Police found the 58-year-old woman Thursday hiding in the top compartment of the man's closet and arrested her for trespassing, police spokesman Hiroki Itakura from southern Kasuya town said Friday.

The resident of the home installed security cameras that transmitted images to his mobile phone after becoming puzzled by food disappearing from his kitchen over the past several months.

The "sad" part was a joke. I can't believe he didn't know she was living in his closet.

I agree....have you ever seen the size of a Japanese apartment?
However. doesn't surprise me a bit...look how many former Japanese soldiers survived in the jungles way after the end of the big One.

I wonder what else he kept in that closet. Obviously he never looked in the topr compartment. Good thing for her, she isnt like me, and has to get up to take a squirt in the middle of the night.

This sooooooooo reminds of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer let his Japanese friends sleep in the drawers of his bedroom dresser.
