Tackle Box Gun Cabinet Cleaned Out in Burglary

Near 3 a.m. today, June 5, police responded to an alarm at the Tackle Box Store in Lexington Park.
When Trooper Roby arrived he found the front door had been forced open.

Troopers and Sheriff’s Deputies searching the store found that an undisclosed number of weapons had been removed from a glass case in the establishment.

IIRC, they had a gun stolen, I don't think they had several stolen all at once.

I could be wrong though.

I "think" last time one of the handguns was used in that killing off Chancellors Run Road.. Don't remember the guys name that did it but didn't they catch a couple of his buddies and they sold him out?

I was waiting for someone to post regarding this. The last time the Tackle Box got robbed, it was a robbery. They have had burglaries there in the past as well. During the last robbery, one of the stolen firearms was used in the murder that occured off of Peggs Road in St. Mary's Landing.Man gets life without parole for murder RIP KW
Hopefully they can find the scum responsible quickly before that senerio is repeated.
Ken needs stronger doors.

Gee why don't the owner lock the guns up in a safe after hours this is happening way to often. I guess local businesses will be on edge for robbers over the next few weeks. I hope the crook gets cought!

THis has happened several times to this place and the owners apparently live in LA LA land to think that some glass cases are gunna help secure their guns. If someone gets killed by one of their guns I hope they get sued. From what I hear they don't like being told how to secure the place. Just plain stupidity on their part.......Lets call a boycott. Maybe they will get the message.
