As gas prices pass the $4-a-gallon mark and the price tag on the Iraq War passes $500 billion, there is one obvious question that is being ignored by President Bush and Congress.

Why can't Iraq pay back U.S. taxpayers for our generosity in our time of need with some cheap oil?
