Gas prices may go up again

Floods have sent corn skyrocketing, may drive up gas prices - Jun. 13, 2008

Quote:
Continued flooding in Iowa and Illinois - the nation's top two corn-growing states - is inciting fears that the cost of the high-priced crop could soar even further, driving up ethanol and gas prices, too.

Just wait until the first hurricane, won't matter where it is, gas prices will go up because of it.

The gas prices are so high now the pump stops pumping after $75.00. I have to do two seperate transactions to fill the tank in my Mini Van. Sure glad we traded the Tahoe in a few years back.

I've seen that $75.00 stop at Wawa, but so far nowhere else (of course, I don't go to many of them, I tend to go the same few gas stations). Thought about doing a second swipe, but then decided not to. Any idea what other stations are doing this limit, too?

probably a leftover limit ... to keep someone from pumping 50 - 60 gal and driving off ... back when gas was 1 something per gal

I am surprised the bank card let 2 b2b transactions from the same place go through ........
