He was in Jail, in isolation. The information, as its presented, lends you to believe it was an inside job, either a Gaurd or a Gaurd let a fellow officer in.

I'm all for justice, but not Vigiliante Justice, this P.O.S. was in the care and custody of the legal system. at that point the Legal System should have handled, like it or not the P.O.S. was still Innocent until Proven Guilty, it looks as if an insider decided to override the Justice System.

The information on the news and radio today, was that he was killed, the Hospital claims the broken bones in his neck were not self inflicted.

Not saying he was a kid, but he was still due Justice, which he didnt recieve.

Granted he was in a cell by himself.. but I don't imagine that he was in the cell block by himself. There had to be other criminals within earshot of his cell, and as someone mentioned earlier, there is no way someone came into his cell and choked him to death without him putting up a fight.

That being said, if there was anything abnormal in the cell block.. cell door opens, closes.. fight.. scuffling.. choking noises.. and cop (correctional officer) walks out, don't you think a crminal would jump at the chance to tell someone about it?

Where are the rest of the junkies, car thieves and ho's that were locked up that night?

If someone killed this idiot, I'll agree it was the wrong thing to do but I can't say it pisses me off. I think I would want the chance to tell this person how wrong he was, then shake his hand. Maybe he should go on trial and be sentenced to a weekend in jail. If someone killed one of your family members or your best friend, wouldn't you like about 10 minutes behind bars with him?

The saddest part about this story is that it will now overshadow the more important one, the death of the officer.

And rightly so.

A police officer, who is charged with upholding and defending the law, instead decides to break said law and issue his own version of "Justice" is a greater story.

So the dead convict was denied a fair trial, yet you have already convicted a correctional officer if not all 7 of them.

I'm not a doctor, nor a medical examiner but i do know I don't know all the facts.
