Surprise! Only one network reported this news.

After leading Tuesday's Special Report with how “last year the administration reported satisfactory progress on only about eight of 18 benchmarks” while this year, in a report disclosed Tuesday, the administration determined “there has been satisfactory progress on 15 of the 18,” FNC's Brit Hume doubted “word of this progress is going to get through” to the public as he predicted:
I suspect that this broadcast tonight -- and maybe some others on this channel -- are the only ones who are going to make a headline out of this. This is not going to be a big story elsewhere.

Third item on the page.

No bias here, just move along, nothing to report.

Yet it's in the Top Stories box of MSNBC (LINK), and all the way at the bottom of the "In The News" section on FOX, below Cute Police Pup Outrages Scottish Muslims, Missing Vermont Girl's Stepdad Arrested, War of Words: Bolivian President Calls Peru's Prez Fat, Zodiac Ties Probed in Slain Pregnant GI Case, and of course right next to Venus Williams Reaches Wimbledon Semis.

Fair and balanced?

Gee, you'd think FOX would have a lot more courtesy for a headline this important.

I wonder why my property taxes should pay for you to sit in front of a computer and television set all day and post to this forum. I'm going to have to ask the BOE and Charles County Commissioners to answer this one soon.

MSNBC have it on television? Or any of the newspapers? I've seen a sprinkling of the story online. On ABC radio they only mentioned the two of 18 measurements that were lacking. Fox had it on televison, probably a better medium for them.

LSM, fair and balanced?

Surely you know the difference between a broadcast news show, and an internet website?
