the speed limit is 55 on the Beltway, and you'll get run over going that speed in any other lane other than the far right .... hell PGPO don't go 55 .... they are always in the left lane going 70 ... or the MSP

I run 70-74 in the left lane of the beltway and I've had to change lanes to make room for tailgating LEO to go by.

My buddy is a truck driver and he refers to the beltway as "suicide circle". Pretty bad when someone who drives all over the country considers the beltway the worst roadway in the entire U.S.
