| It's been so busy I havn't paid much attention to who is on the scene. It did not sound to serious as it was first reported by the Officer that stumbled on it. The Honda apparently has cosmetic damage. I know units out of Charles County were apparently dispatched because I could tell they were up by their digitized sounding comms. |

| Yep take the career staffed paramedic ambulance from a Charles County station, to run a back pain call from a accident, leaving the Hughesville area without ALS service if needed. ![]() |

![]() Kinda like the call I heard a few weeks back. They called in Trooper 7 for a Motorcycle accident in California in front of K-Mart. I came upon the scene after the ambulance had just left. I caught the comms from Trooper 7's medic to PG Shock Trauma. He advised Patient was 20 something, laid his bike down at about 40mph. Got up walked over to the side of the road and dialed 911. No LOC, no head injury. Just road rash. Shock Trauma was a bit perpelxed as to why the medivac. Trooper 7s response was it was the decision of EMS on the scene. You could tell the Trooper's Medic was a little baffled by it all as well. I am unfamiliar with all the reasons behind everything but from listening reasonably often ,the staffing issue and some of the descisions made really tend to stick out like a sore thumb. | |

| Side note - Lesson Learned *When sitting at the PC and the scanner gets busy. Remember to set the bowl of Ice Cream you just made right in front of you in plain site. Things got busy and I forgot I made it. Now I have a bowl full of melted Rocky Road. ![]() |
