Closed car windows show global warming a reality

Government officials have noticed an increase in closed car windows over the last 50 years proving that people are running their air conditioning regardless of the price of fuel.
With the rising temperatures, people have no choice but to try and keep cool anyway they can.

which ever one they think will get the biggest hysteria response.
right now gas it the issue, so they go with the people cant afford (even though it wont make a big enough difference to notice)
once gas is no longer the big talk of the day, they will shift back over and claim that people using the A/C is only because of global warming and that we should all prepare to die from heat related illness in the next week or so.

While I agree the car window story is no evidence of global warming (its just a stupid story) I still can't believe some of you don't believe in it. BCP, take a trip down to your local nursury (the plant kind) and ask about plant 'zones' and how they have changed. Or, bob Ryan (NBC 4) had a good story on it awhile ago - plant zones, which are used to determine if a plant can survive the lowest winter temps, have changed by a zone and a half in the last 20 years. Not proof of man made global warming but definetly that the climate is warming.

Plant Zones changed a tad bit after the Ice Age too.. it happens, it's cyclic, and there's no proof that humans cause it or can do anything to change it.
