State House Renovation Running $1.2M Over Budget

At a time when Maryland is projecting a new $200 million budget deficit, renovations to State House are running $1.2 million over budget, according to an agenda item on the Board of Public Works meeting to be held Wednesday.

everything runs overbudget when it comes to government funded anything.

having worked on a few projects for various city/county/state govenrnments, I can say none of them has ever completed on time and on budget.

It's just a fact of life.
