List of MD Starbucks Stores Closing

Coffee retail giant Starbucks is closing 12 stores in Maryland as a result of a shrinking economy on the verge of recession — or maybe something even worst.

Link to list.

I'm surprised Prince Frederick isn't on the list.
There's (2) both on 4 South and (I'm guessing) less than a mile apart.

Love the title...

Starbucks Gets It — But Gov. O’Malley Doesn’t!

Coffee retail giant Starbucks is closing 12 stores in Maryland as a result of a shrinking economy on the verge of recession — or maybe something even worst.

Unlike the state of Maryland, companies in the private sector much tighten their belts when there is a downturn in business and cut expenses, the exact opposite of what Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley and the Democratic majority state legislature did in Maryland. Instead, they decided to boost the budget and hike taxes!

How long before we pay the full price for their imprudence?

Here is a list of the stores Starbucks is closing in the Unfree state: Harbor Place in Baltimore; Park Place store in Annapolis; Collington Plaza in Bowie; Easton Dudrow Farm in Easton; Westfield in Wheaton; Saint Charles Towne in Waldorf; Fairwood Green Village Center in Glenn Dale; Cloppers Mill Shopping Center in Germantown; Montgomery Village Plaza in Gaithersburg; and 1433 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville.

A Liberal owned company dying!

YAY!!! I'll drink to that.

I have forbidden my wife from buying their overpriced "product" after I read what extremist groups they support.

Now if only the French owned Target would follow the path of Ames, Jamesway and Woolworths...

Target is not owned by the French. They are based in the Midwest. :

Really, they are publically traded. It's not rocket science to look up their corporate information.

If their coffee was as good as Duncan Donuts' coffee, they'd have nothing to worry about.
