NOLA Cops are baaaaad!

Superintendent Warren Riley this afternoon announced the suspension of officer Ashley Terry, who was accused by witness of brandishing a gun and screaming expletives in front of dozens of summer-camp children at the Treme Community Center.

After the Times-Picayune reported the incident this morning, NOPD internal affairs investigators flocked to the Treme Community Center to interview witnesses about the Tuesday incident. The investigation found cause to believe that Terry "may have pulled her weapon" without cause, said Riley, who suspended the officer without pay pending further investigation.

Still, I find it disturbing that all we have to go on is crack-ho mama's word for things. Yeah, she looks real credible.

Sounds like just another black on black confrontation to me ,the only difference being one was a cop with a gun.

One of the things that leads me to think this way, was the part where one individual says. " You dont know who you Effing wif" and the other replies, "No. You dont know who you effing wif". So many black confrontations star with just those words.

Just two typical black ladies with a difference of opinion here, but its hard to try to put a cop in the weeds for coarse language when the language used by the alledged victim is at least as harsh as the cops. Of course the officer shouldnt have pulled her gun. but hey!!! Whats the sense in having one if you cant pull it?

Too bad there was no video. It would have made the day for "America's Funniest Home Video's".
