Southbound in the Northbound Lane - San Souci

Dark in color Ford Escort. Reported traveling hard & fast heading Southbound in the Northbound lanes of Rt.235 in the area of San Souci.

Called in by an off duty dispatcher.



05:39 Police now trying to catch up with what appears to be dark Ford Escort in the area of the Rue Purchase Wa-Wa.

05:40 Police now behind a '98 Toyota 4 Door and observing & running the tags. Traveling down Pegg Rd.

05:43 Police are clearing this vehicle. Advises cancel any other incoming units.

05:45 Police now out with a Black Nissan that he witnessed traveling Northbound in the Southbound lanes in the area of San Souci.

Hmmm. Sounds like the newspaper delivery car that just went by my house a little bit ago.

05:51 Drivers information comes back to an Oxen Hill resident. Tags revoked for Vehicle Emissions.

06:07 Now another officer on the scene with the first and the original car.

06:25 Both officers still out with the vehicle. Not much being said over the raido at this point.

06:33 Not sure what the outcome was but now there is a MSP unit on the way to the Barracks with the female. She does not appear to be in custody. Just needs a bit of help I guess.

Back West one time I was heading to the mall in town after dark, I'd just got on the divided 4 lane when here comes a car barreling towards me on my side of the road. I got over and as the car drove by I recognized the lady that lived across the street from me.

I did it only once the day after we got off the plane from Oki(we were there for 2 and a half years)....luckily we were in Southern Illinios and the road was not well traveled that time of the morning

The 2nd officer on the scene advised that the lady had some mental issues. MSP did take her to The Barracks in Leonardtown for a bit of help I guess.
