Pedestrian struck - St. Mary's Fine Wine & Spirits

Fireboard dispatching for an Ambulance & Medic to Point Lookout Rd. for the 20 YO female caller reported having been struck by a car.

I guess the location is accross the street from Sheetz on GMR. Caller advises she was knocked unconscious for some time.

01:25 Ambulance 397 on the scene.

01:26 Police out. Another officer is enroute.

01:28 Victim can not provide any vehicle description.

01:38 Now the police are advising that the initial call is unfounded and is being changed to a medical call due to the victim being preggo.

Good grief, this is becoming all to common these days. People are just not paying attention to what they are doing. I would almost bet the person was either changing the radio station, putting in a new cd, talking on the cell/texting, drunk or all of the above! This is scary stuff!

Police are clearing. I think the Ambulance will be transporting. I can't say for certain but I "THINK" an officer said she appeared to be uninjured. The original call for her having been hit by a vehice was said to be unfounded (BULLSHIAT).

Well even if it was BS I still hope her baby is ok. I don't like hearing about things happening to babies.
