Accident W/Injures Holy Anglels Church

Just walked in the house and turned on the scanner so unsure of the details but police and fire units are on the scene of a MVA W/Injuries at Holy Angels Church.

Police advise accident 'appears' to have been a head on. Location is in AVENUE on Rt 242. in front of Holy Angles Church.

Two vehicles.

VEH #1 Red Passenger vehicle, '09 Toyota

VEH #2 Blue Oldsmobile

07:36 Command advises Fire Board of two flyouts. Will obtain combined weight to see if another Helo needed. Combined weight of 375 for combined weight. Both patients CATAGORY B. Fireboard checking with Trooper 7 to see if they can handle the load. Trooper 7 can handle both as long as there is no airway compromise.

07:38 One patient still trapped. ALS can not get to him at this time.

Other patient is an elderly female.

07:40 DANZIG has been dispatched

07:43 Trooper 7 does not have a visual on the accident scene. Command is directing him in. 1 Patient has been extractated.

07:46 SYSCOM passed the wrong LAT/LON to Trooper 7. The numbers provided directed TROOPER 7 to ST. MARGARET'S ISLAND. Fire Board and Command or trying to direct them to the scene by using ADC Map references.

07:52 Trooper 7 2 minutes out.

07:54 Trooper 7 has the scene in sight.

07:55 Trooper 7 on the ground.

08:08 Officers advise both vehicles will need rollbacks. St. Mary's coordinating same.

08:11 Police on the scene have spoken with a Medic. At this time it does appear that both victims will be OK. Still being flown out though.

08:16 Per Command, patients being loaded into the Helicopter. Expect Trooper 7 to be airborne in 5 minutes.

08:21 Trooper is enroute to PG.

Trooper 7 passes patient information. 10 minutes out of PG.
#1 69 YO Female restrained driver involved in a head on collision. Alert & Oriented. Abraisons in the left leg area and the hip. Compound fracture of the left wrist. Vital signs normal.

#2 41 YO Male. Unrestrained driver. Although driver advises he was restrained. Chest tenderness. Multiple abrasions. Lower extremity pain. Shortness of breath.

08:55 Squad 5 advises roadway has been reopened. In service. Returning

08:56 Police on the scene advises road reopened. Both vehicles have been removed. All units in service.

Doesn't sound good. I think I just heard them ask about reconstruction.

Yep. I think there are three cars but they have only read off two tags thus far.

We have a few ideas on fixing this. Just have to figure how how to implement them. Might very well be today or tomorrow.

Scanner has been so busy I am unsure. DANZIG is on the way. We'll know later.

I am unsure that there is a third.
