KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The man accused of shooting dead two people and wounding seven others at a church apparently selected the congregation because of its liberal social stance, the city's police chief said Monday. Chief Sterling Owen said police found a letter in the car of Jim Adkisson, who was tackled and held by members of the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church after the Sunday morning attack.

Shooting liberals out of season and without a permit is inexcusable. I hope they put him under the jail.

Although I still say this guy should just be put down without wasting money on a trial, I must remind you as you point to the conservatives for this.

the majority of violent gun crimes in this country are committed by those that would most likely be associated with the democratic party.

Not to mention by killing the 61 year old he's reduced the SS payout for the rest of us. A true conservative hero!

still cant keep up with the overproduction of welfare recipients on the liberal side of thing, they seem to be popping them out at what? 20 ~ 30 per hour in the hood?

Karen Massey, who lived two houses from Adkisson's home, told the Knoxville News Sentinel of a lengthy conversation she had with Adkisson a couple years ago after she told him her daughter had just graduated from Johnson Bible College. She said she ended up having to explain to him that she was a Christian.

"He almost turned angry," she told the newspaper. "He seemed to get angry at that. He said that everything in the Bible contradicts itself if you read it."

Massey said Adkisson talked frequently about his parents, who "made him go to church all his life. ... He acted like he was forced to do that."

So he hates church and liberals?

I thought all anti-Christian folks were supposed to be liberal?

No matter- I hope the State of TN gives him the treatment they reserve for murderers and catfish- fry 'em!

make abortion and birth control more accessible and you might have more luck.
