Rescue to MIR for the overturned car.

Fire Board dispatching to the MIR Dragstrip. Car going approx 175 MPH overturned.

7:33 Driver reported to be conscious at this time.

7:38 Track called back. Advised EMT on scene advised Driver signed a refusal. All units returning to service.

Jet Wars

The wreck was vicious. It was Bruce Mullins, driving a dark blue 1963 pro-mod Chevrolet Corvette. The car got squirrely past 1000' in the left lane, crossed the center line, went up and landed on his roof.

Amazing he did not even want to go get checked out. Thank goodness for good safety requirements.

We were headed the other way, to Annapolis. I always get all gushy when I see those. My first car was a 1967 Camaro. Saw a sweet 1968 convertible in LPCity a couple of weeks ago. I had to drive up to it and peruse it. Bug doesn't get it.
