Monica Rohr is obviously hoping for a Pulitzer Prize on this one. I couldn't read more than half the whine but I have to point out that the factory has bounced back by hiring legal Muslim immigrants from Ethiopia or Somalia (don't remember which) and the community is now having to get used to this group.

Meanwhile, the supervisors of the plant are being charged with harboring and encouraging illegal immigrants in the plant.

The biggest problem is that this thing should have been nipped in the bud years ago , Long before these people established illegal residence.
had this mess been sdtopped 20 years ago we wouldnt be in the mess we are now.

I have no problem with a limited amnesty program, if these people can find a sponsor and have been in this country for years, if they are working.,it would make sense to grant them some sort of work Visa or even make them citizens if they wanted. The problem with that is Congress wants to give them entitlements, retroactive Social security, free them from paying the back taxes they owe, free health care.
