I would put on the Elvis Costello song "let Him Dangle" and have a nice cup of tea.then call the police.

Seriously this song is about a great injustice. I wrote about it in an English project-very sad case..

Yes he has a great voice.Used to have this playing at home all the time.My dad had a great record collection and I used to love flicking through it and putting the music on real loud!
So when my English teacher gave us a project to do on capital punishment ;I knew immediately I was going to use this song!!

I guess his foot was stuck so the shoe could not be dislodged.Like people who get their shoes stuck in train tracks.Quite frightening how you can get caught up.I think I have been stuck by my shoes once but can not remember how-not burgulary!
