Two-day Maryland hotel standoff ends - CNN.com

HANCOCK, Maryland (AP) -- Police ended a two-day standoff with a burglary suspect holed up in a motel with his pregnant girlfriend, bursting into the room and grabbing the man after he was brought food Friday, authorities said.

Police had used a robotic vehicle to send pizza and soda that Prevatt requested to his room Thursday evening. But Prevatt threatened to shoot the robot and did not retrieve the food, Shipley said.

If you are going to be caught for something, Maryland is one of the best states to be caught in.
The courts will let him off easy.

I feel for those people that were left without their cars and belongings while that went on.

He's wanted in 3 other states as well so he should (hypothetically!) get put away for a good while!

since he was involved in a hostage situation, it becomes federal, hopefully the feds will take him in a prosecute, that way, we know he will get justice, Maryland courts however wont do a thing. slap on the wrist, and promise to be good from now on should be enough.
