Maybe grandma just didn't want to believe her daughter could do such a thing and had doubt.

Now... I just hope she confesses and the little girl can be recovered and put to proper rest and Casey can go face her punishment, whatever that may be, hopefully with guilt .

No, I was 99.5% sure she did it and held out .5% just for false hope. It's just sad to start hearing details.

I am just so sad to think that a mum could kill or hurt her own child. Seems very sad and cold hearted. You wonder if there were any signs that she may not be quite right in the head before all this happened.

Same here. My first thought was she is guilty - something about her look - in her eyes but there was a tiny fraction of hope she'd be found.

She was a beautiful little girl but with this new evidence, I am now sure she is gone.

I too believe the little girl is dead and as far as the gas cans that were stolen...I think Casey used them to burn the little girls body and evidence.
As far as the grandmother-I think she knows more than what she is saying!

If Casey is to be believed (about as believable as her mother) little Caylee should have never been with the family. All children are not "blessings", but it now appears Caylee is an angel. It's a shame if Casey really did want to put her up for adoption and her mother didn't allow her to do so.

I don't blame the mother for Casey killing her daughter. Casey could have gone to the authorities at any time, or contacted social services if she wanted to give Caylee up. She was an adult, not a child under the rule of her mother.
