‘Alaska Women Reject Palin’ Rally is HUGE!

‘Alaska Women Reject Palin’ Rally is HUGE! « Mudflats

I attended the Welcome Home rally for Sarah Palin this morning. Hooo. It was an experience. About a thousand (maybe) hard-core Palin supporters showed up to hear her speak at the new Dena’ina Convention Center in downtown Anchorage.

Never, have I seen anything like it in my 17 and a half years living in Anchorage. The organizers had someone walk the rally with a counter, and they clicked off well over 1400 people (not including the 90 counter-demonstrators). This was the biggest political rally ever, in the history of the state. I was absolutely stunned. The second most amazing thing is how many people honked and gave the thumbs up as they drove by. And even those that didn’t honk looked wide-eyed and awe-struck at the huge crowd that was growing by the minute. This just doesn’t happen here.

So, if you’ve been doing the math… Yes. The Alaska Women Reject Palin rally was significantly bigger than Palin’s rally that got all the national media coverage! So take heart, sit back, and enjoy the photo gallery. Feel free to spread the pictures around (links are appreciated) to anyone who needs to know that Sarah Palin most definitely does not speak for all Alaskans. The citizens of Alaska, who know her best, have things to say.

BTW, Palin didn't use her "Bridge to Nowhere" and Ebay lines while she was in Alaska but she's bringing then back to the national stage!

Certainly the people of Alaska have things to say, and there are always the FEW people on the fringe that disagree.

Here's what they have to say:
Eighty four percent of respondents say they feel somewhat or very positive about the governor, with only five percent expressing negative feelings.
This was in 2007, before she was the VP nominee. When she was just being judged by Alaskans on her job in Alaska.

According to these numbers, every woman in Alaska who disagreed with Palin showed up!

I remember the same with the clintons back in 2000.
Arkansas citizens could not do enough to get that corrupt pair out of their state.
so if all goes according to history, Palin is a shoe in for Vice President.

I bet 90% of them aren't even from or live in Alaska. Hell, most of them were probably Canadians.

had someone on another fourm post a picture from an Anti-Palin Alaska rally.. but he forgot to read the signs in the picture he posted.

Strog Alaskan Men and Women support Palin..

I  Palin

McCain/ Palin 2008

I didn't read a single negative sign in the picture.. but it was a PROTEST against her.

Maybe that's how they got the big numbers.. You have 10000 (edited 1400for example) people show up to the protest.. you can count all 10,000, (1400) even though 9,900 (1290) of them were carrying signs in support of her?

And read the article.. it's obvious she can't tell the truth

1400 people is the largest political rally in state history!?? I doubt that very much.

The honking of horns trying to make the "Obama" with their car horns!??

An idiot might believe it, I'm not buying it.
