| F'ing California, land of the looney liberals who think criminals are poor misunderstood victims of circumstance, upbringing, and society's lack of compassion.

| that was an incredulous 'what', not a "huh?" 'what'. It doesn't translate very well on internets. |

| It was a righteous shooting and it's too bad the intruder lived. Had he died....No, wait, this was California. The sucker doesn't stand a chance in the courts.

Google "attractive nuisance" sometime. I think they finally rescinded it in California, but for a long time, it was the law of the land. On Nolo.com, it's defined as "Something on a piece of property that attracts children but also endangers their safety. For example, unfenced swimming pools, open pits, farm equipment and abandoned refrigerators have all qualified as attractive nuisances." In California, for many years, decades, even, even fenced properties were not beyond being termed "attractive nuisances." That's the looniness of California. My home state, by the way. Being a conservative in that atmosphere is a bear, to say the least.
