Unfortunately this is not about educating kids. Its about giving them a diploma. You cannot stop a kid from dropping out of school, but you can lower the standards and make the numbers look good.

That's what is going to happen they will lower the education standards, stop failing kids, and let them remain in school in ignorance until they graduate ,and take this diploma with them to an employer ,who will spot them in a week and fire them , because they cant do the job,starting them on their first trip to the Workmens Comp office, and convincing them that "the man" is out to get them.

Because it's mostly minorities who are dropping, despite the dumbing down of the American educational system. Pretty soon, all a minority student will have to do to qualify to graduate is fog a mirror. I find the whole thing, among other things, highly insulting to minorities. Forkin' libs treat non-whites as though they're too stupid to compete.
