...I don't think you have to worry about McCain supporters. They're used to appealing to the media and looking at what the right wants and then supporting the opposite. You can count on them to support all sorts of non sense in the true spirit of the maverick.

If you're addressing the right wing, the ones who voted for McCain but don't support him as anything more than the lesser of two evils, it is my sincere wish that you get used to the term 'loyal opposition'.

Unless Obama suddenly leaves behind his far left record, count on me fighting back every step of the way. And that includes fighting against actual McCain supporters.

So since I did not vote for Obama I must, by your statement, be something other than a "TRUE" American? I am having identity issues now. I am not African American, Latino American, Native American, nor Asian American. Lo, these many years, I have always thought of myself as a True American but you enlightened me. Your post here is a good indication of the ignorance of Obama voters.

If Obama turns into a President we can admire true Americans will certainly get on the bandwagon as you say. If he turns out to be as ignorant as your post we wont be going to Russia or France we will be right here fighting for the true America. If the Democrat Congress we just had for the past two years is an indication of getting anything done I dont have much faith in that.

Hey Raven, you Mensa....there were a lot of "true American's" who voted for McCain; there were a lot of true American's who voted for Bob Barr and Ralph Nader as well. There were even true American's who voted for Obama (there were a few idiots as well, but Mac, Barr, and Ralphie had a few of those as well.)

Barack Obama will be my President, when my current President George Bush hands over the job. Bill Clinton was my President before that, as was George's Dad, and Ronald Reagan. We don't have alternate Presidents, shadow-Presidents or Anti-Presidents.

Our first President, George Washington, warned of political parties, and decried the partisanship they created. And it would seem that our current political mode of operation is to have the Party-in-power versus the loyal opposition....or a version of Spy Vs. Spy (as seen in Mad Magazine!)

Your post smacks of partisanship, and hints at a spirit of spite and recrimination. That is something we surely need more of in our country.
