I agree that suicide doesn't deserve sympathy...it's selfish. I don't know, I think it was the "Thats the best he could come up with?" comment that threw me for a loop.

It just hits sort of close to home with me because one of my best friends younger sister committed suicide a few years ago. They still don't know 'why'...though there's no good reason, IMO anyway. She was a seemingly happy 16yo, absolutely BEAUTIFUL active girl with so much ahead of her. There's so much emotion...I mean, 1) I feel sad for her family. They loved/love her so much. 2) I'm infuriated that she would be so selfish, knowing her mother would be the one to come home and find her... 3) CONFUSED! WHY would this girl do this, WHY?!?!

I don't understand how someone could do that either. With so much to look forward to in life its just sad that they get caught up in some bad feelings at the moment and end any potential they had.

I don't know what gets into people. There is so much out there to enjoy.

I understand the comments about it being selfish but if people are mentally ill they are sometimes unable to control their actions and feelings.It is very complex.Perhaps they may have an chronic illness that is very uncomfortable or interferes with their life to such an extent they feel hopeless. Maybe not in this case but just as an example why some should not be so unsympathetic.
Sometimes one can not understand unless you walk in their shoes and feel and experience everything they do.
I do not understand filming it but I do feel sorry for him and his family.
This story does highlight how vulnerable youngsters can be.
As I have grown older I have realized to judge people less for actions that we do not agree with or would do ourself(Unless causing harm to others).....

That is a terrible place to be.
