Wasn't there a mention somewhere up in this thread that they're fixing to cut production levels?

That's still a bad thing, right?

I wasn't asking for reasonable, logical, and rational well-thought-out reasons that they might have, or should have, for bolstering failing economies.

I was asking if there was any tangible evidence that indicates that they actually do give a tiny rat's ass about helping wounded economies. From what I can see, that's not their job, their problem, nor their inclination.
They give a tiny rats ass because they want to continue to tap it.

Lets say the world economy totally collapses. That would be the WORST thing to happen for OPEC because everyone but them has an economy that is somewhat diverse, IE textiles, agriculture, manufacturing. In Saudi, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran there is NOTHING....except oil.

While I have doubts that they lost all their money, I oftentimes have lurid fantasies about previous oil executives eating out KFC garbage bins.

And me telling them that my sympathy is in the dictionary between #### and syphillis.

...nope. Can't find the link, but OPEC just decided to maintain current production levels.

...this class warfare mindset must cease! It is unproductive and counter intuitive and just plain dumb.

Eat the poor; there's more of 'em.

As I say, what does a lower interest rate have to do with a no doc loan for someone who doesn't meet traditional loan quals in the first place even if it is ZERO interest?

Thank Clinton!!!

And if it's fair to blame this on Clinton, then, of course, 41 gets the credit/blame for Clinton and 43 gets the credit/blame for Reagan?

Sorry. At year 8, it's W's economy.

Perfectly valid, reasonable, logical and rational explanation about why they would have concerns about helping failing economies.

I'm quite aware that a global economic catastrophe would result in that part of the world collapsing into a pile of camel ####. I'm also aware that self-preservation is a motive.

However, stopping an ass-rape to allow your victim to regain their footing and let the blood dry, just so you can start ass-raping them again isn't something I could classify as: "help".
