| Stimulus plan takes over health care. If you are a senior this could be very important. Pretty soon Obama's government may be deciding if you are worth saving. Bloomberg.com: Opinion |

| The goal is to slow the development and use of new medications and technologies because they are driving up costs. He praises Europeans for being more willing to accept “hopeless diagnoses” and “forgo experimental treatments,” and he chastises Americans for expecting too much from the health-care system.Lovely, hope all the lib boomers are ready to suffer! _______________________ "A government that seizes control of the economy for the good of the people, ends up seizing control of the people for the good of the economy." | would be nice if it only affected those that voted for obama why do the democrats hate the elderly? how much you want to bet that along with killing them off, somewhere hidden in that bill is a provision to take whatever savings they have left including the value of their home.

| This rather sticks in my craw too: Buried deep inside the massive spending orgy that Democrats jammed through the House this week lie five words that could drastically undo two decades of welfare reforms.Undermining welfare reform? “Specifically, it would apparently reward states that expand their welfare caseloads–even if the increase is only the product of loosened work requirements rather than a worsening local economy. . . . If a state somehow succeeds at placing would-be recipients in jobs, it’s out of luck under this provision. To get the extra federal money, it has to get more people on welfare.” Like the song says, they’ll turn us all into beggars ’cause they’re easier to please.
