Are We Throwing US Foreign Aid $ Down the Toilet?

Here are some interesting facts to consider. I suppose there is a downside
to "giving up." Is world peace being held in the balance??

Answer this yourself.

The United States gives out $13.3 billion tax dollars in direct Foreign Aid annually. The United States is above and beyond the single most generous benefactor of the United Nations, donating $2.4 billion dollars of YOUR
money, to primarily third-world dictators. This amount is 25% of the United Nations budget.

In addition, the United States also gives another $1.4 billion tax dollars to
United Nations' programs and agencies. The American taxpayers fund more
for the United Nations than ALL of the other 177 member nations
COMBINED. What most Americans do not realize is that the vast majority
of the recipients of the of US Foreign Aid routinely vote against the wishes
of the United States in the United Nations at an average rate of 74%.
In other words, of the $13.3 billion tax dollars invested in direct Foreign
Aid only about 26% or $3.5 billion went to support people who endorsed American initiatives or causes. A staggering $9.8 billion tax dollars went to causes and people who were and are in open and direct opposition to the
United States' interests and objectives.

Listed below are the actual voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States
along with some more extreme examples of US aid, which are recorded in
both the US State Department and United Nations' records:

% of Votes
Country Against US Foreign Aid $
Kuwait 67%
Qatar 67%
Morocco 70%
United Arab Emirates 70%
Jordan 71% $192,814,000
Tunisia 71%
Saudi Arabia 73%
Yemen 74%
Algeria 74%
Oman 74%
Sudan 75%
Pakistan 75% $6,721,000
Libya 76%
Egypt 79% $2 billion
Lebanon 80%
India 81% $143,699,000
Syria 84%
Mauritania 87%

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the taxes.

Isn't it amazing how so many countries object to the US telling any country what they should do, yet they have no objection to the same countries taking our money? If we're going to be attacked and berated by all these jerks whether we give them the money or we don't, I would vote for keeping the money and letting the rest of the world fund itself.

I say we take all the foreign aid money and use it to purchase 1 full auto firearm and a case of ammo for each man, woman and child in the countries that don't like us, but love our money. Then wel tell them to fighti it out and whoever is left, we send in the special op's troops to finish off.
