Outrageous!!!! Who were these people on the jury?





A federal jury found Tuesday that a southern Arizona rancher didn’t violate the civil rights of a group of illegal immigrants who claimed that he detained them at gunpoint in 2004.
The eight-member civil jury also found Roger Barnett wasn’t liable on claims of battery and false imprisonment.
But the jury did find him liable on four claims of assault and four claims of infliction of emotional distress and ordered Barnett to pay $77,804 in damages — $60,000 of which were punitive.
Barnett declined to comment afterward, but one of his attorneys, David Hardy, said the plaintiffs lost on the bulk of their claims and that Barnett has a good basis for appeal on the two counts on which he lost.

WTF??????????? Can we pack the jury up on the same bus as the illegals and ship them home? How about the normal, law obeying residents of this country run amok through the jury's respective properties and see what kind of cash we can raise from a frivolous law suit when we refuse to heed their demands to cease our trespasses on their property!

Nice way for these A-holes to "pave the way" for even more scumbags to cross into our country. Sure, reward them for entering the U.S. illegally & trespassing on private property, destroying the rancher's property in the process.

It seems the only option this poor guy has is to move away from the border. Apparently, our legal system is set up to care more about people who should have NO rights than to care about the rights of a law abiding U.S. citizen. I sure hope he wins on appeal. That's a lot of money for these animals to receive for breaking multiple laws. If it is indeed determined that he needs to pay up for protecting his own property, then I hope he gets a lot of donations in order to help him pay that ridiculous amount. I'll tell you this much - I'll send the guy a check if that happens, although it won't be for as much as I'd like to be able to send him.

This should have been thrown out of court and never gone this far much less in favor of illegals. Only in the new, liberal America.

Now the guy has two choices. Pay up the $78,000 dollars to the illegals or appeal the decision and pay his lawyer the $78,000, for the appeal, and perhaps lose.

Not much of a choice is it? The case should have never come to court and the jury sucks.
