I think she has taken the target off her back, and by not holding public office right now, will be free to speak her mind exactly as she sees fit. It will "allow Sarah to be Sarah". She can draw crowds like no other politician around right now - so going around campaigning for others with the same ideals & values as she has - she will be able to help affect change in 2010.

The pundits on the left AND the right who are discounting her now are going to be eating crow later.

Being socially left generally means that everyone has to pay so the lazy, illegals and homos all have benefits, health care, etc. yet you are not willing to pay to support the agenda of the left.
