(Oct. 6, 209) -- The Charles County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect in the assault which led to an officer-involved shooting on Oct. 2 in Pisgah as Cornelius Maurice Warren, 44, of Indian Head. | How about if we call them the shooter as opposed to the shootee? it should avoid confusion.

| Did you see what the brother and family wrote in the Independent????????? This WONDERFUL guy had so much going for him that he needed drugs and needed to attempt to take a Police officer's gun...  Read it all folks, if it doesn't make you sick. Depending on how many shots were fired, sounds like $$$$$$ coming to some piss poor pisgah people. Think of all the drugs they'll be able to buy courtesy of the CCSO... Family contests police shooting story
