Yes the guards are responsible for the detainees health. So, if they aren't sick, don't give them the shot. If they get sick, gues what, treat them for whatever it is. Give the public the shots not the bastards behind bars.

I see. Let's give these people who have probably never had a shot in their whole lives the vaccine. Makes perfect sense. I will only like the idea if we are allowed to tell them its gonna kill them..and try to make em talk.

Screw em. If we are going to "trick" them like that, let's just kill em. It will save a lot of money and there will be more room for others. Well, for a little while.

Isn't it better to immunize the, (what?) 250 detainees, than to let our military personnel guarding them get infected with whatever they come down with? Not that our military won't have the flu shots themselves, but whatever opportunistic and exotic secondary infections will the detainees pass to them if they should catch the flu?

Well I got to add to this subject because I am a politically minded ex-con and I found out lots of interesting stuff from inside the jails and prisons.

Like it is very possible that all jails and prisons will get the flu vaccines because if the disease gets into the prison population then it would spread like crazy with massive casualties and the guards would freak out whether they were vaccinated or not and the surrounding towns would be put into panic too.

And in cases of natural disasters or emergency situations then the jails and prisons all have super high priorities like emergency generators and reserve food supplies and high observation until the danger passes. Like in the New Orleans hurricanes then the jails and prisons were all evacuated long before anyone else, and long before the storm hit.

And all the jail / prison door locks are "fail-secure" instead of "fail-safe" because if the power does go out then everything locks down tight, so that if it "fails" then it becomes "secure" and not "fail-safe" as civilian locks do.

And there is even a directive that in case the gov becomes unmanageable as in a nuclear war and the jails and prisons are thereby unmanageable then all of the inmates are to be executed.

Whay are we giving them the shot. Nature is eliminating them for us. Go with the flow. I am preety sure they have areas that the sick can be quarantined in or dump them in the ocean.

That is an interesting point, that the dirty disease comes from dirty pigs and the Bible declares the SWINE as unclean in every way.

And I myself do not want the shot either, so it is likely that many at Gitmo inmates are likely to refuse the shots.

And it is more likely that mostly whites and Christians will die from that pig flu.
