Shootings, multiple deaths reported at Fort Hood

Just my $.02. My nephew is stationed at Ft. Hood and we finally got word he is ok. Thank god. My prayers to all the soldiers and families. This is a horrific tragedy.
I also want to add. To those of you that routinely get on here and bash the police and reference boys become cops men go into the military. I want you to remember that it was a civilian police officer that ran into that building to save lives. That is what they are trained to do. While others run from the chaos our brave police men and women run in! My prayers to that officers family.

Ironic, isn't it?

What those unfamiliar with the military seem to miss is that not all personnel will be in the field shooting at enemy combatants. Even if they go to Iraq or Afghanistan or any other combat zone. It's unlikely a psychiatrist would be required to pick up a weapon, so that excuse about him not wanting to kill his fellow Muslims is horse####.
