I dont care who you are, or what your political leanings are. There is really no way you can not appreciate what congress passed last night.
From Pelosi to the newest man on the block. I congratulate you for finally doing something that will actually be of value.

I think that for doing this, all of congress should pat themselves on the back and take off for the rest of the year.

How long until the couch potatoes biatch, "I don't like this channel! Why doesn't Congress ban the channels I don't want to see?! "


Think of how potentially annoying this will be: an average-volume commercial goes off and a commercial featuring an explosion or something else cool comes on; you want to hear the explosion, so you turn it up; after that commercial is over, you'll have to turn the volume back down or it will be too loud.

I agree, but this makes me as happy as a puppy with two weenies.

Im one of those people diving for the remote when commercials come on.

and, I figure every moment they spend on stuff like this is time away from them figuring out more ways to screw us with unwanted social programs.


Now, How do we get them to make a law that puts size limits on people before wearing certain things,, like a bikini or spandex...

I suppose since I am not in possession of one of those beach hunk bodies, you could suggest that a law such as that could be aimed at me also. It would keep me from wearing my size 42 speedo.
I personally am willing to lose that right in order to help make this world a better place for all.

People should not have to think about poking their eyes out with an icepick simply because they go to the beach.
