The draft never got out of the DOT. It had no chance of getting through the White House if it got that far, which it didn't.

But don't let that get in the way of your fauxrage.

Mn/DOT to test driver's 'mileage tax'

If you think this is dead think again.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation is looking for 500 people to test technology that could someday be used to collect a mileage-based user fee.

I'd love to talk to the idiots that think up this __it and ask them where they keep their brains.
We already know where they keep their brains. When they pass gas they think they had an idea.
Go back to the library and read Orwells 1984,see if you can find anything that reminds you of todays political climate.

There is so much Obama said he was against and changed his mind. Obama has perfected the 'speak out of both sides of his mouth’. He wanted to eliminate the Bush tax cuts and instead extended them. He was against the Patriot Act yet extended it. He was against Iraq and we are still there. He wanted to shut down Gitmo and we're still there. He was against expanding wars yet quadrupled drone bombings in Pakistan and expanded military actions to Libya. He and his wife are pushing a food police agenda in our schools and privately owned restaurants while they run around eating burgers, tamales, and beer.

The fact that anyone, at any level of authority, thinks this is a good idea is disturbing. In the end, when Obama can grab one more score of power under his belt to manage our lives, he will sign it. And this not to just find ways to raise our taxes, but to also monitor our movements.

the Master Plan is, to force you into urban centers, do away with your car (because you can no longer afford to drive it) and make you dependent of the Gobberment for Life
