When people are cuddled their whole life, have everything done for them and provided for them, they can get to point.

Of course the solution is to spend even more money from responsible people to help them deal with the consequences of never having to develop any type of independence what so ever.

The real critical missing information, I want to know who these people voted for in the last election!

I think he might have been joking.

Psst, I didn't think the people stuck in a corn maze voting record really amounts to anything, other than a laugh at who they voted for attracts people of that intelligence.

My wife used to teach 1st Grade in Alexandria, VA. NOT exactly the inner city, but thanks to urban renewal, there was their own slice of the inner city at the edge of town, and her school was in it.

Besides, her 1st graders telling her about the 'R' rated horror movies they watched on HBO at midnight the night before, which she had to tell them she didn't see it because she couldn't afford HBO, because she didn't get free lunch (meaning they were on one of the forms of welfare) like they did, and doesn't stay up that late because she has to work the next day.

I helped her take her class on a Field Trip to a Farm.

Yes, we had kids refuse to believe milk came from comes, they said it came from the store.

But, we took the kids for a walk in the woods, and it was a joke of a trail, you could see the line of kids from the entrance walking along the path and turning around and coming right back. We had kids crying, saying they were going to get lost in the woods, we had two children refuse to even enter the woods, and had to wait outside, even though they could see from where they were standing, the turn around point with the kids ahead walking back.

So yeah, its NOT hard for me to imagine that we have people that live in their own little world, I've seen it, and when they go outside of it, they lack the critical thinking skills to adapt.

I think you are a liar. What kind of teacher would throw that kind of a statement in the faces of 1st graders?

A teacher that isn't some sort of brainwashed liberal.

Pay attention, I recounted the Circumstances, NOT the dialogue. You want the dialogue, it went something like this.

1st Grader: Mrs. S did you watch the Freddy Kruger movie on HBO last night?

Teacher: No, I can't afford HBO. Isn't that movie rated R, that comes on HBO before your bedtime?

1st Grader: No, it was on at midnight.

Teacher: Well Honey, I don't stay up that late, I have to get up for work the next day, you shouldn't be staying up that late either because you have school, you need your sleep.

What is so horrible about that conversation? Teachers know which students get free lunch, they have to supervise them all day. What is she NOT suppose to realize that her kids from family's that are on public assistance are watching HBO and letting their kids stay up way to late and watch movies for adults, when the kids tell her that? No, she is suppose to be a good brain dead liberal and live the lie, don't believe her lying eyes, believe what the liberal propaganda machine tells you?

nhboy, you so full of judgemental presumptions, someone recounts the circumstances of an outrageous event, and you automatically assume some teacher berrated a child for being poor? How are you capable of functioning in the real world? I'm starting to believe you were the one of the people lost in the Corn Maze.
