| Another political stunt.. ...that will have zero effect on job creation and Steny Wants everybody to support it. The WaPo has a good opinion piece on the SCOAMF's latest initiative to supposedly help vets gain employment. What I cannot find for the life of me is any detail on how the $4800 or $9600 in 'tax credits' are collected by me, the employer. My company pays no 'taxes' on anything except FUTA and our part of the SS and Medicare on payroll. ?? Targeted tax credits don’t help the economy - The Washington Post

| Just read that. And we will probably get to watch Baynor go along.

| You are probably right. The "Republicans won't help create jobs" narrative being pushed by the SCOAMF-in-Chief and carried so well by the media makes doing otherwise a difficult call. However, the 'good news' is that the entire inititiative is so incredibly lame and inconsequential, in fact, that the estimates of what it might cost at the end of the day are in the 100 million dollar range...a mere pittance. It will cost only a little to accomplish nothing at all, in other words.
