My very white skin comes from my mostly Irish decent with a little German from one grandparent.

So it is not a matter of competition, as if I must be on the white side against other colors, as if my loyalty is being violated - no.

I see it as very enlightened to give due praise to the "Black History", and to give respect to the African Americans, and I am not competing with them and I am not being disloyal to my own color or race.

Us white people really need to start accepting our white guilt for our white atrocities, and the guilt of our white prejudice against every other race on the planet earth, as that would be the beginning of a real white repentance - and rightly so.

Mine was a racial diatribe yes, but it was not racist.

There is a big huge difference between racial and racist.

Talking about race and acknowledging racial differences is completely fine and acceptable and even expected, but injecting prejudice or discrimination or hatred therein and THEN it becomes racist and that racism is not appreciated.

But I do like your reference to mine being a "diatribe", as yes it was a dialog within our white tribe.

We had a "White History" thread going with Timothy McVeigh on the opening post, but now it just disappeared as in deleted for no obvious reason.

No one called it as racist.

I even say it is long over due for white Americans to start facing up to the truths of our real white history.
