Minn. Seeks Food Stamp Ban on Junk Food

Now this is a good piece of legislation. I hope all the states follow.


ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The state of Minnesota is asking federal permission to bar people from using food stamps to buy candy bars, soda and other junk food.

If the U.S. Department of Agriculture approves, Minnesota would be the first state to impose such restrictions.

I think they should let you buy drugs or booze or candy or whatever you want with food stamps. Especially drugs. If the recipients OD and die, then it will save the taxpayers money in the future.

Honestly, I don't understand why we keep some of these people on the payroll. They're not contributing, nor will they ever, so why not just post-partum abort them? Every time I watch those cop shows, I think, "Dude, you've got a perfectly good gun on your hip! Why don't you shoot this guy and do us all a favor?"
