At least one neighbor told the Sentinel that young black men were suspected in recent neighborhood crimes. Yet nothing — so far, at least — suggests that Zimmerman had reason to think Trayvon was committing a crime.

Stands to reason that he Trayvon was suspected and confronted simply for being black.

I have heard the 911 calls several times and in none of them does the Police dispatcher tell Zimmerman to not follow the suspect. Sorry, you have read your own biases into the story.
