| Prom Chaperones Sprayed Lysol On Dirty Dancers ![]() MAY 15--Two parent chaperones at a Colorado high school prom sprayed Lysol on students engaged in “dirty dancing” and called several teenage girls “sluts and whores” for making it appear “they were advertising butt sex,” according to cops. The bizarre incident last month at the Manitou Springs High School resulted in harassment charges being filed against Jennifer Farmer and Hannah Rockey, both 42-year-old mothers who allegedly dispersed the disinfectant in a bid to pry apart underage revelers. According to a police report, the April 21 prom--which had a “Lost in Pandora” theme--was held in the Manitou Springs city hall, where a crowd of students danced in a large auditorium that Saturday evening. | I was a chaperone for nearly every dance at Thing2's MS. I patrolled the hallway most of the time, which was interesting at best. PDA wasn't allowed, congregating in the bathrooms wasn't allowed. We also interrupted that kind of dancing when it occurred. I loved that chaperone duty, because most of the kids were good and just having a blast. Thing2 always behaved because I threatened to DISCO if he didn't. discosmiley.gif But we chaperones were pretty busy for those 2 hours!! |

| My son's first 6th grade dance was an eye opener. I was trying to talk with the principal but his attention was constantly on the dance floor. He was continuously scanning the crowd. Then all of the sudden he made a bee-line to the center of the floor. There was a scrum of girls grinding on each other inside a perimeter of students trying to block the view. Definitely a far cry from the spring dance at Barstow. Can't wait for high school. |

| DAMN! Colorado has gotten even more edgy than I thought. That leftest doofus governor is driving the state into the mountains. Quote:
