| Reminds me of one year a college I went to had its "slave auction" cancelled. It was for charity and the auction went more or less like those win a date type auctions, except the "slave" had to do whatever assignments - within reason - they were given, by the winner (like wash a car or carry boxes and so on). A local student group objected - and the event was cancelled. No charity money that year. Geez. I'm getting increasingly perturbed - and disappointed - that this kind of stuff happens. One of these days a manufacturer is going to have the guts to say, screw you, just don't buy them.
