There will be blood on the hands of those who made this brilliant decision...

So they really think these underaged P.O.S. deserve another chance, huh?

Five people, including a 15-year-old boy, were scheduled to appear in a Wilmington court Friday following their arrest stemming from the shooting death of a food delivery driver.

The suspects, ranging in age from 15 to 20, are accused of ordering food from a Chinese restaurant in an apparent scheme to lure a delivery driver to a dark street so they could rob him. Police said Liu answered the call, and when he stopped his car to deliver the order of chicken wings and shrimp fried rice, two assailants confronted him.

Smith said one assailant shot Liu in the foot and the other suspect shot him in the face.

Police said that after Liu was killed, the five went to a nearby house and ate the food. Smith said they later went back to the car to look at Liu's body and go through his car. Investigators say all that was missing from the vehicle was $48 in addition to the food.

I thought I read that this ruling applies to those age 14 and younger - not all juvies.

The decison was based off of a case where the juvie was 14, but their ruling I've seen reads that all those charged as juvies fall under this protection.

Like Jet said, death penalty works for me.

The courts force us to take the law into our own hands.

Because they are a juvie, they can get away with murder? And letting these POS's back out on the street on parole will prevent them from murdering again? I'm with Jet, bring the death penalty and don't tell me because they are only 14 or 15 they don't know any better. BS again.

Next time I want to kill someone or rob a bank I'm going to pay some kid to do it for me. They won't get in trouble.

This is a great opportunity for drug dealers.

The Court didn't say that sentencing them to life without parole is unconstitutional, it said that mandatory sentencing schemes (i.e. that require that sentence) are unconstitutional. It said that "a judge or jury must have the opportunity to consider mitigating circumstances before imposing" such a sentence.
