But we, as a society, have been taught to sit there and be the nice victim, don't fight back.. I agree with the one or two legal CCWs in the audience would have made a difference but NOT in Denver. They have the WORST gun laws in most of the country, and their enforcment is pushing up against the Gestapo anti gun laws.. To the point of stopping possible hunters with out of state plates, searching their cars and finding illegal AMMO (according to Denver Laws) and arresting the offender, and confiscating his/her weapons, ammo, car, with NO due process or trial.. So the shooter did his homework, and knew where the best place was to attack.. I would also ASSUME that Denver and the state of Colorado don't have the death penalty.
