| Watched the men's gymastics vault competition yesterday.. was a joy, and just fun to watch.. USA came in fifth after his vault landed him in third originally.. but he kept standing, smiling, cheering everyone else on, congratulating them as they came off the floor, and all around EVERY single one of them was just personable, supportive and having a good time. He looks up at the scoreboard, sees that he falls from third to fourth, and he CLAPS.. and congratulates the gymnast that knocked him off of the podium.. Last competitor comes up to vault and the US vaulter walks up to the stage.. I want so see HIS vault.. I've been waiting for him.. PURE class act! His quote.. "This is FUN!!" Now switch to the woman's vault.. American Vaulter lands on her ass on her second vault, and WINS the silver, but she's such a spoiled little ##### that she can't even smile, talk to anyone and even pushes another competitor away that comes up to hug her. You can see three, four, maybe even five other vaulters and their coaches come up to her and talk to her, but you never even see her show awareness of their existence.. Totally void of any interaction, andy decency, any sportsmanship.. Can't wait to see what she says about Mickey Mouse.

![]() I agree. At first, I thought she didn't want to talk to anyone right after her vault cuz she was just pissed at herself for not performing up to her ability. But her immaturity showed as she never got over it, even after getting the silver on the medal stand. She looked like a spoiled little brat. She's got a lotta learning to do. I'm proud that the USA got the silver, however after her behavior I'm not so proud that SHE was the one who got it. It's not like the other gymnasts cheated or the judges favored someone else. She was considered the best, she was expected to win gold, she was the one who messed up, and SHE was the one who lost the gold. Maybe, we can only hope, this was a lesson for her to learn that a true champion shows sportsmanship win or lose.
