| The idea that not having an ID card could disenfranchise voters is beyond moronic. It's a black hole of moronic. You have to have some sort of picture ID to do almost anything in today's world. Buy a car, rent a post office box...crap, you have to have ID to buy spray paint, for gawd's sakes! And when they're giving you an ID that other taxpayers paid for...! You can believe they can take their happy asses to the welfare office, and to where ever they're passing out the free cheese, but lord forbid they'd take their lazy butts to motor vehicles to get their picture taken and handed a free-to-them ID card. If you're too lazy and/or too stupid to get an ID, you don't deserve to vote.

| I also noted this in that article: The California man also noted that at a recent book-signing featuring Michelle Obama, customers were required not only to show photo I.D. but to also purchase her book in order to speak with the First Lady and get her signature. The word for the day is: incredulous.

| Most places require ID to buy liquor, cigarettes and lottery tickets. They require ID at the welfare office too. Id is required to get a bank account, be hired for a job, pay with any sort of plastic card. How does requiring people to show proof of age and ID disenfranchise low income voters who already have to have ID for these other services/commodities? Im confused why there is an issue here. |
