I see your point, but at least your average Christian is quick to disown those extremist types who bring that negative attention. We don't often hear about any outcry from Muslim groups saying, "Whoa, that wasn't our guys! Don't lump us in with them!" when there has been yet another bombing, shooting, stoning, etc.

Maybe that sentiment is out there, but it's awful quiet.

You all are missing the bigger picture here, who cares if radical Muslims are growing more powerful and their crusade to kill all non believers is going unanswered?

Can I just say that I'd be happy to pay for her birth control personally if it meant she'd never spawn. EVER!

I think her gender preference has already taken care of that for us. It's not like she actually needs or uses BC, she just wants to be the crusader.

Press Release | Embassy of the United States

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

My question is why were we not prepared for something on 9 11?

so, if you take away religion, there is nothing to fight for? no reason?

you dont think people would still fight over oil, territory, wealth or even freedom? because the more reasons to fight you take away, more reasons will surface.
Most fights anymore have little to do with religion.

except the muslims, they are going to fight anyone that does not follow their religion.
And, when the muslims attack for their religious reasons, the retaliation is not always a religious based retaliation.

But back to it. In the last 100 years, examples of Christians killing for their religion.

American Muslim Group Condemns Anti-US Attacks in Benghazi, Cairo | Middle East Voices

Really? CAIR denounced them quickly and said there is no excuse. While CAIR drives me batty a lot of the time, they jumped right on this one.
