Don't steal or Wal-Mart Security will strangle you

Suspected shoplifter dies at metro Walmart | www.ajc.com

The Black Friday shopping weekend took a tragic turn early Sunday morning when a suspected shoplifter died while being apprehended by employees and a contract security officer outside a Lithonia Walmart.

The security officer, who police say may have placed the suspected thief in a choke hold, is no longer working for Walmart, the company said.

Police found the man to be unresponsive and bleeding from his nose and mouth. Emergency units took him to DMC-Hillandale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead

so if someone breaks into your house with full intent to kill you, you would wait till he was proven guilty in a court of law before firing a weapon at him?

I am a firm believer in the theory that innocent until guilty should not cover the guy who is guilty.
Like if an officer sees someone shoot someone else, there is no question of guilt and at this point a trial is really not required. Just shoot him on the spot, fill out the paperwork and go back out to finish the shift.

Everything is not always as it seems though. If cops came upon the man who killed Jesus Mora Flores, I would hope they wouldn't shoot him on the spot and fill out the paperwork.
